10 Years of IP1 Magazine: Issue 10!

10 issues of IP1 magazine!

Ipswich music scene hero Andrew Culture and Ipswich upstart Sinfonic give the lowdown on what local music label Corndog Records was serving up back in 2003 – shamelessly self-promoting Junk Culture and Sinfonic, as well as other acts of the day (and today) OK Hotel, Jucci Da Funk, Dan Foden and one: day: life.

Also featuring in this bright orange edition was urban art photography by Ollie Salmon, graphic art by Chris Boyle, plus a review of the superb rock ‘n’ roll band The Dawn Parade.

If I remember correctly I wasn’t actually interviewed, in fact it came as something of a surprise to me that I was in ip1 zine at all smile

Sloppy journalism. I do apologise, Andrew, it was before my time… I hope it was a nice suprise?

3 Howard | on 16 January 2010

P.S. This makes Andrew NOT a shameless self publicist!

4 Andrew Culture | on 16 January 2010

Oh I wasn’t complaining smile

Erm… Wasn’t the SEX issue issue number 10 (although unofficially)???

Howie are these back issues gonna be available to download? Would be good to get access to them as I don’t have my old artwork files any longer (cries and sulks in corner).

wink

Hey Karl, How’s it going? I’m not sure about number 10 being the unofficial sex issue. Number 11, which I’ll be blogging about this week, is certainly the official sex issue, though. That’s a filthy issue!

Regarding uploading the old, old issues, I’ve never got round to doing it to be honest. They’re all in Quark which might be why, as hardly any of us now use Quark. But, one guy on the team does so I’ll ask him about it as it would be good to have as many back issues available for download as possible.
