Hi everyone. :D

I have a bit of a request for some help, hope that’s OK.

For my dissertation I am looking into writing, producing, editing etc. etc. a comic. (Graphic novel, action-hero style rather than a comic strip.) However I am need of an illustrator. Obviously any illustrator would be fully credited as such on the comic and in the dissertation and I am also hoping to host it online & maybe try to get it into a shop…or something. (It’s early days yet!! LOL.) Anyway. I was wondering if any of you very talented artisty people would be interested or, if not, knew anyone who would be? If so get back to me however you would like.

Sorry if this isn’t directly IP1 related but you guys were my first port of call for Ipswich talent.

That’s all! Thanks for reading. :D

People are welcome to use the forum in this way, we encourage collaboration.

Are you hoping to find someone to illustrate an entire comic? To me that sounds like a difficult task… It would be a lot of work for the illustrator and there is no garantee that the illustrator you find is reliable and could leave you with a half finished product. Could you arrange with your tutors to only finish a chapter? And maybe just submit the rest of the comic as a sketched storyboard or use something like a 3D program like Poser?

Yay for collaboration. Well I was looking for 1 or more people to illustrate one issue. Either 14 or 28 page, it’s open to discussion. LOL. I actually use Daz 3d a lot so I did consider doing it that way but I get the feeling it would be lower quality and take longer! That you for replying BTW. #:)

Sounds interesting although i’m not an illustrator but I think this sort of project would be something college/uni students maybe interested in.
