Some of you might know that I create interactive art (see my profile) with a tech art group called the Curiosity Collective.  Next year we are putting on a show based around the theme of proverbs.  But we are staging a bit of a work in progress teaser show next week (Friday 28th - Sunday 30th) which you are all welcome to pop along to.  The idea of the show is to test out our ideas on people and see what works and what doesnt.

We had a really good first night, unfortunatly I’ve left my digital camera cable at the venue so I can’t get the images off this camera, but it’s really cool looking stuff. Come see the pot that doesnt boil if it’s being watched, some grass that is always greener on the other side, a patient who reacts to administered medicines, and many more.

We had about 40 people turn up tonight and we got some great feedback; also we have been penciled in for a 3 week exhibition next year at a new venue.

I went along last night and thought the exhibition was very good, a big improvement on previous shows, with some funny, mind-boggling, nerdy and pretty things on show. The curiosity collective have the potential to be one of the most interesting and inspirational collectives in the UK, and this exhibition marks their progress to date. Very rough around the edges but look beyond that and you will hopefully appreciate what’s on show
