#1 Two men of the street seated on a bench in Tavern St, with a chess board between them. (B&W methinks)

I did have my camera phone, it’s just I can’t get excited about digital photography wink

I saw them guys too, and was also like “damn it” because i didn’t have my camera. Then i saw a pigeon with a cheese burger and was even more gutted.

Buddhist novice monks releasing birds as a gesture of mercy on the hillside temple of Luang Prabang in Laos. Would have had to be pretty ninja to get a good shot. But the saffron robes matched the colour of the sun and sky which was also reflected in the mekong river…

yeah the perfect picture to sum up travelling in laos! it was great thankyou, although i missed the monks on the mountain i got loads more! monks washing their robes in the river, people picking rice… it was monsoon season so the sky was amazing all the time- got a really good shot of a thunderstorm over bangkok from the river! gah you wont believe how beautiful everything was :D hope your summers been good- have you gone away yet?
