Hey there,

Just a quick note to tell you about our festival happening in Suffolk in September and make a little appeal for help.

An intimate, friendly festival in a magical setting, Festinho is a delicious cocktail of the best in eclectic music, sunny Brazilian vibes, a laid-back feel and shedloads of wonderful nonsense. All profits go to the ABC Trust, which helps Brazilian children and young people on the streets to transform their lives

The Guardian just named us as one of the Top 10 Small Festivals in the UK! They said: “Sumptuous surroundings… a definite Latin party vibe… small really is beautiful.”

Festinho is put on by a group of volunteers who raise money for charity by putting on great parties, however, we need quite a few more hands for the weekend itself.  Roles include decor, stewarding duties, artist liaison and much more.

So, want to get involved? Just drop an email to

Thanks very much

Just to confirm Festinho most definitely needs YOU to help our music festival happen.

We’re working with the national volunteering service, v, who want to inspire other young people to get up and get involved in creative projects which support charities or benefit communities.

Festinho is put on by a bunch of people who love music and like parties and wanted to get some experience in event production, the fact that we raise money for charity is just a brilliant cherry on the cake smile

We’ve grown from a garden party into a proper little festival over the last few years and this year we’ve been featured in the top ten list for the UK’s best small and alternative festivals.

We need loads of volunteers to help with the site decor and build, stewarding, bar work, for entertaining the kids, meeting and greeting, promoting the event in the local area and artist liaison stuff.

Volunteers do 3 x 6 hour shifts, they get a free meal and soft drinks for each shift then they get to party with everyone else.

We’re looking for local folk, so you won’t have too much trouble getting to the festival.

Get in touch if you’re interested.
